Develop an Entrepreneurial Mindset
GFX Innovation Scholars will develop the skills needed to be innovative leaders as engineering students and future professionals.
Innovation Scholars will learn the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in engineering. Students will develop their entrepreneurial mindset by identifying problems in the world around them, addressing problems by creating value-driven innovations, and learning from experts. Innovation Scholars create impact in a variety of contexts, including in startups, non-profit organizations, research labs, and industry! Students will explore innovation and entrepreneurial opportunities offered on campus and through the Technology Entrepreneur Center and the Innovation, Leadership, & Engineering Entrepreneurship (ILEE) dual degree.
Fall Semester (1 credit hour)
Take a course with an engineering faculty member to learn about the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in making an impact on your engineering career.
Spring Semester (1 credit hour)
Practice being an innovator through hands-on projects and learn about innovation through field trips and interactions with entrepreneurial experts!
