Learn Through Inquiry

As a GFX Research Scholar, you will be equipped with the knowledge and resources to secure valuable undergraduate research experiences.

GFX Research Scholars will learn more about research areas and programs on and off-campus. Through coursework and guidance from staff, students will learn about the research process, how to articulate their research interests, and how to apply for undergraduate research opportunities.

Fall Semester (1 credit hour)

Take a course to discover areas of research and prepare you to apply for research opportunities on and off campus. You will learn about the research process and how to articulate your interests.

Spring Semester (1 credit hour)

Take a course to join lab tours and workshops and attend research talks that expose you to possibilities of your future as a researcher! You will learn about various research groups, centers, and institutes across campus and connect with the research community.
